Went out of business - No customers equals no profits to reinvest in my retail business. The three P's for success are People, Profit & Product. I was in business for 9 years.

The Bush tax cuts should be a no brain'er to extend them all. We need everything they can do. But Obama will want to extend under 250,000 ones but only extend the other ones only for two years. All the tax cuts should have the same time limits. Otherwise the Republican’s give up all their negotiating positions if they accept the high tax cuts for only two years.

Why do we continue to allow illegal aliens, who have not bothered to learn English or become citizens, to collect our PAID FOR benefits. I helped a Mexican illegal to become a citizen and learn English and he got mad because he had to start paying taxes. After working here for 15 years as a condominum porter. I learned about him when I moved there.

tHE ARGUMENT ABOUT EXTENDIG TAX CUTS IS THE COST OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS. tHESE CUTS ARE ALREADY FIGURED IN OUR BUDGET AT THIS TIME. tHE ONLY INCREASE IS WHAT HAS ALREADY BEEN OKAYED FOR THIS NEW BUDGET. wE ARE JUST CONTINUING WHAT IS ALREADY THERE.

Why does everyone say keeping the top tax rates at same level will cost $700 billion. We aren't giving them extra money, just extending. Only way it could cost more is if government had counted on receiving the extra $700 billion from increasing the rates.

What would be wrong with the new Congress in January creating and submitting to the Senate these two tax-saving bills. 1.) A real workable Tort Reform Bill. 2.) A bill that would allow insurance companies to sell insurance across state lines. Both bills would save Americans a ton of money. Sam

Too many companies have already outsourced their call centers and other offices to India and South America so why is Obama trying to rustle up jobs over there? What about trying to lure these companies back to the U.S? Does he even have a clue? I don't think so. He's clueless!! This trip is just a front to pretend he wants more capitalism when in fact, I think he wants more for them and less for us.

Wen it comes to spending cuts, surely there are more than enough governent agencies that could be cut back on or shut down totally. The first one to come to mind of course is the IRS. This agency is nothing more than a taxpayer funded terrorist organization. A flat tax is a must if the economy is going to recover.

I am well aware that there are many things that effect the economy, but why do we not do something to cut the price of oil. That is what always starts the problems.

For the 2nd year now there will be no COLA increase for me and most American's. That's OK, I can live with that. The questions is...will congress give up their COLA this year also.

Why do we send so much money to countries that hate us? Why should we give to them and not take care of our own?

It seems to me that we have voted the politcal parties into Unions vs. Business. Do you think moderates will move now to form a citizens party to fill the void?

Why haven't I heard one word about the 100's of billions we spend every year on illegal aliens and anchor babies ?? Why should American tax-payers make ANY sacrifices while 20 million illegals get a free ride ??

wHY CAN'T WE GET THE NAMES OF THE SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN WHO ACTUALLY ARE ATTACHING FRIVOLOUS EARMAKRS TO BILLS. THIS NEEDS TO BE STOPPED AND THEY NEED TO BE CALLED TO TASK FOR THIS. WE HAVE ENOUGH PROGRAMS THAT NEED TO BE FUNDED NOW. THESE EARMARKS ARE NOT NECESSARY. THEY DON'T GET IT.
