You just showed a map of the gulf coast with Al right next to Louisiana....when did they move Mississippi? Is this part of the change that was promised?
Robert Coleman
While I agree that the new spill adds insult to injury...some of these folks who left comments really are overreacting....oil that evaporates does not cause acid rain ( duh!) oil has always leaked from underground..witness ancient tar pits and frankly, the gulf is already a toilet...every bathroom from western PA to LA dumps into rivers which empty into the Gulf...not mention all the toxic industrial pollution and farm runoff
Rev. Daniel W. Blair
This will continue! As we enter one of the most aggressive hurricane seasons on record, I cannot even imagine what a hurricane would do with oil in the Gulf of Mexico. Dealing with oil on the beach is one thing, but what if we had to deal with it in our streets, in our businesses, in our homes? What if we had to rescue humans covered in oil? What if this is no longer isolated to just the Gulf Coast but found its way up the great rivers to our inner cities? Now imagine if you will, the dispersan

What have we done? Why have we chosen money over life? Why are we about to destroy mother earth itself? Is it in our human nature to harm each other? The earth is bleeding out everyday before our very eyes, how can the people responsible for this tragedy even sleep at night, why aren’t they working 24-7 to save this world. Will my daughter grow up thinking that the oceans and the shorelines were always black? Will my daughters generation ever see how beautiful mother nature really is? What have we done? What are we doing to our creatures, to our people, to our plants, to our land and to our water? Will Christ come for us before we suffocate in oil? I thought the beast of the sea was going to be a seven headed creature not something we created.

Hemp oil anyone???

Just what BP needs, a scapegoat.

This one isn't as bad, but it's still messed up. I'm tired of the BOOM they put on it, because it evaporates the oil and gas and then it becomes toxic or acid rain. And that can lead to a lot of bad things, including cancer. Google it. It's affected places as far as canada. Hope this get's cleaned up and all. President Obama would probably react quickly to this one before he lets something blow up in his face again.
